Our next concert features two very contrasting symphonies - one from the Classical period written by Mozart at the height of his powers, and one from the later Romantic period, written by Georges Bizet at the very start of his musical career. Both are masterpieces in their own way and are regularly played in the mainstream classical repertoire. These two symphonies bookcase a Quiet City, by the American composer, Aaron Copland, scored for solo trumpet, cor anglais and strings. Online booking for this concert is now open!
